The Port Washington Police Department formed it's first Honor Guard unit in March of 2005.

The Honor Guard was established to recognize fallen police officers throughout the state and country. The unit also represents the Port Washington Police Department in parades and special events.

Current members of the Port Washington Police Department Honor Guard are Lt. Kevin Hingiss, Lt. Mike Davel, Officer Eric Schmeling, Officer Chris Erickson, Officer Kirstin Moertl, Officer Jason Bergin and Officer Jerry Nye. For more information, e-mail Lt.
